7.4 Returning equipment using a courier service

If You wish to return equipment from TheHost DC using a courier service, You must carefully follow certain steps to complete this procedure.

For temporary return of equipment (for example, for maintenance or repair with subsequent return to the DC), the procedure remains the same, but the application must indicate that the return is temporary. Please note that with a temporary return, the subscription fee continues to be charged, since the DC reserves space for your equipment.

Procedure for returning equipment by courier service

1. Notify us about the upcoming equipment return by submitting a request through Your personal account or via email to support@thehost.ua.

2. By the agreed return date, You must clear any debt, if any exists, using the available payment methods.

3. Based on Your submitted request, we will prepare an Equipment Return Act or Act of temporary return of equipment. You can sign the document:

  • Electronically: through the electronic document management system.
  • In paper form: print the document, sign it, and send it via courier service (courier services are paid by the Subscriber).

4. For safe and correct shipping, You must provide the value of Your equipment for insurance during courier delivery and specify the delivery address with recipient’s contact information.

5. After shipping, we will provide You with a tracking number to monitor the package.

Please note: when shipping equipment, You must pay the full delivery cost, as DC employees only accept pre-paid shipments. Considering that the equipment is valuable cargo, to ensure maximum security and safety during transportation, we recommend using Nova Poshta delivery service. This will provide You with reliable insurance guarantees and cargo tracking throughout the entire journey.

Important: before returning the equipment, please pay attention to the mandatory conditions of the return procedure.

  • Equipment return is only processed after we receive the signed Equipment Return Act.
  • No outstanding debt for provided services is a mandatory condition.
  • Return shipping services for equipment and documents are paid by the Subscriber.
