Ukrainian domains

Ukrainian domains

Domain zones of Ukraine are presented in the form of a list of public domains, as well as regional domains with the abbreviated name of the regional center.

The first include such zones as .UA, .COM.UA, .IN.UA, .ORG.UA, .NET.UA, .УКР. Such domains indicate that the domain name belongs to Ukraine as a whole, and also emphasize, for example for .COM.UA, the commercial status of the resource that uses this domain zone.

The second category of domains includes domain zones of the following form: .KIEV.UA, .DP.UA, .OD.UA, etc. Such domains primarily show regional binding for the resource that uses them.

International domains

International domains

The group of international domain zones includes general purpose domain names (GTLD), as well as the so-called ccTLD - national top-level domain zones assigned to certain countries or unions.

The first group represents domains without reference to any state. They indicate the purpose of a domain name, such as .COM or .INFO.

Domains of the second group (ccTLD) are usually used for resources that carry out their main activities in a country, for example, .RU, .DE, .PL, etc.

Thematic domains

Thematic domains

Thematic domain names, or newGTLDs, are relatively new domain zones that, for the most part, do not belong to a particular region or state. They are created to more accurately indicate the purpose or topic of the resource in a particular thematic zone.
